Celeste

Last month, I finished Celeste.

I tried to treat the various non-human tortures designed for the less skilled in the game as the hardships along the way in a real mountain climbing journey.

Immersing myself in Madeline’s journey with her friends and her own shadow made me feel less lonely. As the story unfolded, the climb became more thrilling.

On the summit road of Chapter 7, I wrote these words on the mountain, addressed to my own Badeline, and also explained my reason for climbing. I didn’t expect any later climbers to see them.

But it seemed they did.
